The royal entrance to the royal square (what “Königsplatz”
means in German) modeled after the paragon of classical Greek architecture
by the Bavarian King Ludwig I. After a short sprint across the street
(beware of the speeding cars and remember you are in Germany, home of
the very funny quip: “who brakes is a loser”) you can enjoy the frescos
inside the gate and prove your knowledge of ancient Greek by reading
aloud the inscriptions and to impose upon your companions.
