Sometimes Munich is dubbed as “Italy’s most northern town.” To feel this quality by yourself, you have to come to St. Joseph’s square on a warm summer evening when the church’s façade is glowing in the sunset. At best you first have discovered Munich’s best ice cream shop in Theresienstraße (you have crossed that street coming here; turn to the left and you already can see it) and bring a cone of strawberry and vanilla with you to sit down on one of the benches and let life tranquilly pass by.
