Augustenstraße cannot compete with glamorous catwalks like Maximilianstraße. Instead it is inviting you to a stroll through a colorful variety of shops, cafes, restaurants, art galleries and apartment houses and for this very reason is much more interesting than any endless boring row of luxurious boutiques. In addition there is a special reason for English speaking people to come here: house # 104 is the home of the „Readery“, the largest English bookstore in town.
